Marzipan Balls with Almond and Chocolate Print E-mail
 
Ingredients
Makes +/- 30 pieces

Preparation
  • 30 almonds, blanched
  • 30gr/1oz dark chocolate
  • ? teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 250gr/8?oz good quality ready-made marzipan dough (50% almond)

Toast the almonds in a dry pan until golden brown. Add chocolate and cinnamon. Turn off the heat and stir to combine. Transfer to a plate.

Roll out marzipan dough using a thin dusting of confectioners' sugar. Cut in small pieces. Shape into balls. Make indentation in each ball. Fill center with one almond.
