Ingredients
Makes 4 servings

Preparation
  • 450gr / 1lb cherry tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 2 tablespoons thinly sliced fresh basil leaves
  • Olive Oil
  • Salt
  • Black pepper

Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until almost smoking. Add the tomatoes and sugar to the hot oil. Cook for 1 minute, tossing frequently. Stir in the garlic and cook for another minute. Remove the pan from the heat, add the basil, and season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve immediately.
